WVU is committed to affordability for veterans – because service deserves support. We are proud to match the Department of Defense's rate of $250 per credit hour for all online undergraduate programs.

Budget-Friendly Pricing for Veterans

As a military service member pursuing a completely online undergraduate degree while receiving federal tuition assistance (FTA), you are eligible to receive the rate of $250 per credit hour. After uploading a plan of study and/or gaining approval for FTA through your education center, WVU will honor the $250 DoD rate. The WVU John Chambers College of Business and Economics, in partnership with the Adjutant General School at Fort Jackson, SC, offers one program at the graduate level at the $250 per credit DoD rate*. Any active-duty service member may qualify through this partnership; the special rate is not restricted to Fort Jackson Captain's Course graduates. This partnership rate applies to the following program only:

The Defense Information School (DINFOS) and the College of Creative Arts and Media have established a partnership that enables DINFOS alumni to transfer select credits earned in their Department of Defense training into the Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications. Military Public Affairs service members can receive a special discounted rate of $250 per credit.

Please Note: Discounted military and veteran tuition rates are valid for fall, spring and summer terms. Maymester and Winter Intersession are assessed a flat tuition rate for all students; military and veteran discounts do not apply to these Special Sessions.
